SCUBA / snorkel equipment is required to attempt this cache. You must be a certified diver, or know someone who is to find what is required in the quarry to retreive the cache.
Welcome to one of my favorite local places to 'get wet', check out new gear and gear configurations, do some shallow diving to make sure my gear is working for a new season of shipwreck diving, play with crawfish, commune with the fishies, surprise fishermen and to simply meet up with and enjoy time with my dive buddies.
I adopted the original Spring Mill SCUBA Cache with every intention of replacing the muggled cache but that just didn't happen and would only appeal to a small set of geocachers. So instead I archived the original hide and created a multi many more cachers can enjoy. I hope that includes you.
This cache is a two stage multi, with SCUBA required to retrieve the location of the second cache. The coordinates given are the approximate location of an underwater feature. The information you need will be somewhere on this item. This is meant to be a simple find, so that new divers or even divers doing their training certification can find the coordinates to the cache. Enjoy!
