You will likely pass by 1 or 2 other caches to get to Trillium Trail. Hopefully their proximity will motivate more cachers to tackle our sister mystery cache, "OK BarnaBe WannaBe", GC6PRRN . Trillium Trail also contains the coordinates for OKBW just in case you can't get the coordinates at its first stage.
This cache is available year round though the parking spot is not available once the snow flies. Snowshoes/cross country skis are recommended in winter. The roads may or may not be plowed and sometimes are groomed for skiing only. Add another Terrain point during winter. Please stay off the groomed trials if you are not wearing the appropriate footware.
Note: My HOA has placed signs up to limit access. You are my GeoGuests so please keep speeds and dust to a minimum!
There is no access via Trillium Road from within the Edelweiss community so no parking on Trillium Rd please. All access is from NF-100 but the Edelweiss roads are available for through travel. Please keep your speeds down to 15 MPH or less. This is important if the 3 caches in or around Edelweiss are to endure. NF-100 is not recommended via Goat Creek Rd as it is a narrow poorly maintained "logging" road. It is not available at all during the winter.
This cache was originally conceived to increase interest in our mystery cache but now stands independently. I used the Geo rating calculator. I think it is easier than the calculated rating however.
The FTF prize is an unactivated Travel Bug, along with some lesser swag sprinkled about.
Do not decode the hints by hand. They may or may not be helpful to your efforts. You will understand once you get to ground zero.
