This cache is winter friendly, if you can't find it after a 5 mn search and it's not winter and buried in the snow after falling from the hiding spot, it's gone.
I discovered this place while looking for a spot to view the Two Points Islands on Leech Lake, which is the first meeting place between Henry Schoolcraft and the Anishinabe while he was looking for the mouth of the Mississippi.
I wouldn't recommend launching a boat here, but a canoe/kayak or something of that nature would be easy as there is a vehicle wide trail all the way to the lake.
The cache is placed on the left side of the trail as you are facing the lake.
The cache meets all lableing requirements.
