Geocache Description:

Long, long time ago on the hill in the other side of the lake was a castle which belonged to very cruel duke. Once, his son Giedrius was rowing on his boat at the lake and saw very beautiful girl swimming in the shore. Her name was Kiementa and she was a daughter of local villein. It was love from first sight. When Giedrius father found out about their love to each other he was very mad about that and locked his son in the castle. When the night came Giedrius escaped from the hill cell and went back to the island where Kiementa was waiting for him to show up. Both of them made a promise to save their love or die trying. They kissed and said goodbye. Giedrius was on his way back to the castle. He took his boat again to row back into the castle but then a big storm started. Lightning hit straight his boat. Giedrius started to sink and his love Kiementa rushed to help him. Unfortunately their love was not ment to be. Both of them died in that storm. The only thing that left is the name of the town (Giedraičiai) and name of the lake (Kiementas).
