Many years ago, this entire area was a giant skiing resort. The resort was founded by my great-grandfather, Basso the First. My grandad was pretty vain, and he called his creation, "BASSOVILLE SNOWLAND."
Well, Snowland was very popular with Hollywood celebrities. The famous people actually came up here to see Snowland--not so much to try that crummy train. Oftentimes, when tourists rode down the mountain in those "gravity cars," they usually jumped out at the chair lift which was located right here at GZ."
If you look carefully, you can still see signs of the old chairlift.
Year after year, Bassoville Snowland received the coveted "Diamond Attraction" from the AAA. At GZ, notice the big slope in front of you. That was considered a "Black Diamond" slope--for experts only! Yes, it's a little rocky, hence the "Diamond" difficulty rating.
When I last skiied here, I accidentally left behind an important container. Can you help me find it?
