Geocache Description:

McArthur Island Treasure Hunt (MITH)

The McArthur Island Treasure Hunt (MITH) series is a geo-training playground for new geocachers with a variety of cache types and difficulty levels. Caches are safe, family-friendly, and some are wheelchair accessible. All caches promote the highest standards of geocaching etiquette by encouraging cachers to practice low impact caching, respect other park users, and trade responsibly.

Most of all, they are meant to be fun!

*
This is a replacement for MITH-Demeaner (MITH), which replaced MITH-Nomer CITO, both of which were muggled… constantly… hence demeaner and demeaner we get!

Most in the geocaching community are open to being contacted if, for example, you have been unable to find a cache and need a hint from the Cache Owner (CO) or a recent finder.

This cache is a padlock lockbox and in order to access the log book to claim the find you will need to figure out the code by dialling M-I-T-H.

As noted, this is a high muggle area, so please be sure to use stealth when opening the cache, and remember to re-cover the code dial.

Have Fun!!!
