Geocache Description:

Take a hike, bike or horse ride on this old railroad line converted into a dirt road. Lovely views of the Palouse and the Palouse River. Cache is about 1.5 miles one-way down the trail. The trail ends about a mile later, where a trestle used to cross the river. You can see a tunnel on the far side of the river. I waded over to check it out, but it was full of rock 200 feet in. Make sure to close all gates on the trail, cows use some of the pastures.

Directions to trailhead: Leaving Colfax on Hwy 26, turn right just past the Palouse River Bridge. Continue streight past some industrial areas and a gravel pit. Park at the gate with a "no motor vehicles sign".
