This cache is a 1.5 litre cylinder camoflouged plastic container. Located at the north entrance of the Whiteshell Provincial Park, you will find this cache hidden close to where the former iconic little log hut was located. Parking is located off the yield area but may require caution during high traffic times and/or check point days.
This cache was our first hide. We chose a spot that was meaningful and loaded with memories. Located at the north entrance of the Whiteshell Provincial Park, you will find this cache hidden close to where the former iconic little log hut was located. Prior to 2010, when approaching the log office, traffic would need to slow and yield to the right to have their park pass checked. If you didn't have a pass, you could purchase it then. This event signified the arrival at the lake and created great excitement. Today, the yield in the road still exists and occasionally serves as a check point. Parking is located off the yield area but may require caution during high traffic times and/or check point days. Enjoy finding this cache as you begin making your own memories at the lake.
