This is one of a few new hides along the first stretch of the Macclesfield Canal from its junction with the Peak Forest Canal at Marple, placed for a nearby KT event.
This is hidden next to what appears to be an old crossing point over the canal, although there's not really much evidence either side any longer. This is a busy stretch of canal for runners, cyclists, dog walkers and boaters. Please avoid compromising the cache by taking care not to be watched and replacing it carefully.
