På andra sidan sundet kan man besöka den minnessten som restes 1999 där de sista skotten föll. Passa på att besöka den platsen om ni har tid över. Did you know that it was here the last war shots fell on Swedish soil in 1809 during the Battle of Piteå. On the other side of the strait you can visit the memorial that was erected in 1999 where the last shots fell. Take the opportunity to visit the area if you have time.
