Welcome to The Redcliffe Showgrounds! This cache was placed here to honour one Canadian's time here in Redcliffe.
In 2003, this Showground was actually home to the Redcliffe Padres Baseball stadium and many great times were had on the field and sitting in the stands with new friends. This cache symbolizes both this time and allows current cachers to visit this great park and visit the sights. Enter the grounds either through the main gate at the front or along the walking path that cuts through the North side off Scarbourough Rd. The coordinates should be fairly accurate and the cache itself should be very accessible. Sit in the bleachers and try to picture a baseball park full of fans, players and the smell of hotdogs off the BBQ!
