Es handelt sich hier um einen Power-Trail, der aus 38 Tradis besteht. Jeder einzelne Cache ist einem Prominenten aus der Schweiz gewidmet. Die Strecke ist rund 9,5 km lang und führt dich durch die Allmend bis nach Felben-Wellhausen und zurück nach Frauenfeld. Der Trail eignet sich besonders für Radfahrer.
This is a power-Trail, which consists of 38 traditional caches. Each cache is dedicated to a celebrity from Switzerland. The route is about 9,5 km long and leads you through the Allmend to Felben-Wellhausen an back to Frauenfeld. The trail is ideal for biker.
Marc Forster
Marc Forster (* 27. November 1969 in Illertissen) ist ein deutsch-schweizerischer Filmregisseur, Filmproduzent und Drehbuchautor. Mit einem Budget von 10.000 US-Dollar drehte er 1995 den experimentellen Film Loungers, mit dem er beim Slamdance Film Festival den Publikumspreis gewann. Das Drama Monster’s Ball wurde 2001 zum großen Erfolg. Halle Berry gewann als erste Afroamerikanerin einen Oscar als beste Hauptdarstellerin. Marc Forster führte bei Ein Quantum Trost, dem 22. James-Bond-Film, für den Paul Haggis das Drehbuch schrieb, Regie. Seit 2005 ist Forster Mitglied der Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, die jährlich den Oscar vergibt.
Marc Forster (born 30 November 1969) is a German and Swiss filmmaker and screenwriter. He is best known for directing the films Monster's Ball, Finding Neverland, Stranger than Fiction, The Kite Runner, Quantum of Solace, and World War Z. The son of a German doctor and a Swiss architect, Forster grew up in Davos, a winter resort in eastern Switzerland. His breakthrough film was Monster's Ball (2001), in which he directed Halle Berry in her Academy Award-winning performance as the wife of a man on death row. Additionally, Forster directed the twenty-second James Bond film, Quantum of Solace which began shooting on January 2, 2008, shortly before his 39th birthday, making him the youngest director in the series' history (beating the previous record set by Guy Hamilton, who was 41 when he directed Goldfinger five years before Forster's birth). Marc Forster was, along with Renée Zellweger, part of the 2005 HIV prevention campaign by the Swiss federal health department. Forster is also involved in the Red Cross organization "Our World. Your Move" and additionally works with Rokpa International, who help the hungry, sick, orphaned and poor throughout Tibet and Nepal.
