There has been a non-posted cache here from at least 2012. I learned of the cache from the discription in another offical Geocache close by. After finding the cache we found the cache container broken. But the contents including logs were still there and in pretty good shape considering the envirorment. This is the perfect location for a Geocache. We happened to have an ammo-can and all the fixing to make a first class offical geocache on our vessel. So we put the contents and logs from the original cache into a new ammo-can along with a new log book, pens and pencils, official Geocache notice and additional swag including new unused Travel Bug Tags.
We do live in Reno, Nevada USA. But we'll be traveling in the area on our boat for the next few years and we have boating/geocaching friends seeks deal from Vancouver Island that have agreed to help maintain the cache. So come out and enjoy the beauty and bounty of Walsh Cove. The cache is an easy find and you'll love the view from the cache.
