[ITA] Chinatown è il nome attribuito nel gergo comune ad un quartiere del Municipio 1 di Milano per via della notevole concentrazione della comunità cinese e di esercizi commerciali gestiti da persone di provenienza prevalentemente asiatica. Formalmente detto quartiere Sarpi in riferimento all'omonima via, in passato era noto con come il Borgo degli ortolani. È compreso tra via Canonica e via Paolo Sarpi, ai confini con il centro storico.
La massiccia presenza cinese, unita ai tipici ideogrammi per le strade, conferisce al quartiere un'identità molto forte. Particolarmente suggestiva è la ricorrenza del capodanno cinese quando una coppia di draghi sfila per la via principale del quartiere addobbata per l'occasione. Il corteo si snoda da piazza Gramsci, all'estremità occidentale del quartiere, preceduto da danze e rulli di tamburi, e attira una folla di curiosi da ogni parte della città.
Nel quartiere si trovano alcuni tra i migliori ristoranti cinesi della città, che offrono soprattutto l'autentica cucina cinese dello Zhejiang. Recentemente hanno cominciato a fare la loro comparsa anche ristoranti specializzati in cucina del Sichuan, di Pechino e hot pot. Il quartiere ospita inoltre le redazioni di numerosi giornali in lingua cinese, i quali vengono stampati nella periferia della città e distribuiti in tutta Italia. La Festa di Primavera (春節T, 春节S, chūnjiéP) o capodanno lunare -letteralmente "capodanno agricolo"- (農曆新年T, 农历新年S, nónglì xīnniánP), in Occidente generalmente noto come capodanno cinese, è una delle più importanti e maggiormente sentite festività tradizionali cinesi, e celebra per l'appunto l'inizio del nuovo anno secondo il calendario cinese. Per il 2017 è previsto il 28 gennaio 2017.
A partire da questa data, le festività durano per quindici giorni, concludendosi con la tradizionale festa delle lanterne (元宵節T, 元宵节S, yuánxiāojiéP).
[ENG] Chinatown is the name given in the common parlance to a district of the Municipality of Milan 1 because of the high concentration of the Chinese community and managed businesses by people of mainly Asian origin. Formally said Sarpi district regarding the homonym street, in the past it was known as the village of gardeners. It is between Via Canonica and Via Paolo Sarpi, bordering the historic city center.
The massive Chinese presence, combined with the typical characters in the streets, gives a strong identity to the neighborhood. Particularly striking is the celebration of the Chinese New Year when a pair of dragons parading down the main street of the neighborhood decked out for the occasion. The parade runs from Piazza Gramsci, at the western end of the neighborhood, preceded by dancing and drumming, and draws a crowd of onlookers from all over the city.
In the district there are some of the best Chinese restaurants in the city, mostly authentic Chinese cuisine Zhejiang. Recently they have begun to make their appearance also restaurants specializing in cuisine of Sichuan, Beijing and hot pot. The neighborhood is also home to the editorial offices of several newspapers in the Chinese language, which are printed in the outskirts of the city and distributed throughout Italy. FINE ANNO CINESE... TIPS
TIPS !
1. Jiaozi, ovvero pacchetti ripieni di fortuna. Ravioli che avvolgono carne e cavolo, bolliti e serviti con aceto e salsa di soia.
2. Lunghi noodles. La loro lunghezza è auspicio di lunga vita quindi NON si tagliano.
3. Delizia di Buddha, un piatto misto vegetariano
4. Pesce intero. Un bel pesce intero. Vuol dire abbondanza, testa e coda simboleggiano un buon inizio e una buona fine d’anno.
5. Lingua d’anatra. Coraggio.... se siete valorosi preparerete anche le lingue d’anatra e le zampe di gallina con aceto e coriandolo.
6. Nian Gao. Una torta che non può mancare, simbolo di nuovi e promettenti traguardi nel nuovo anno. È fatta con zucchero di canna, riso e olio. Simbolo di prosperità.
7. Mandarini, arance e pompelmi. ATTENZIONE !! Il numero 4 è il male assoluto e con lui i suoi multipli, tranne il numero 8 che invece è un numero fortunato. Quindi non lasciate o date mai cose multiplo di 4
8. ROSSO
Il rosso. Per spaventare quel mostro di Nian abusate di rosso, la leggenda narra che esce una volta all’anno dalla sua caverna per cibarsi di esseri umani ed è spaventato solo dal rumore assordante e dal colore rosso. Vestiti, lanterne, buste, decorazioni, fiocchi, ninnoli, addobbi in abbondanza purché siano rossi

10. Scaramanzia. Se per disgrazia vi capita di rompere un oggetto, non imprecate frasi inopportune a caso. Gridate forte Suìsuì píng’ān (歲歲平安, con il significato di “pace anno dopo anno”) per allontanare malasorte e disgrazie.
TIPS OF NEW YEARS
