Geocache Description:

You will be hunting along the Cottonwood Heights Historic Walk west of the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon.

The approximately two-mile Cottonwood Heights Historic Walk starts near the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon & continues west to 3000S.  The trail is popular with walkers, joggers, & bicyclists. Two geocaches are placed along the east-end of the trail to encourage people to read about the unique history of Cottonwood Heights.  Cottonwood Heights city once included several long-forgotten communities: Cottonwood, Big Cottonwood, Butler, Union, Granite, Poverty Flats, Danish Town, Emmaville & Gold City. The city has placed markers along the historic walking trail to inform people about some of the historic sites around the city & to explain a few significant events occurring in Cottonwood Heights’ history.  We hope you enjoy this walk as much as we do.

Please be gentle opening the cache and carefully place back in original location.  Watch out for muggles.

Happy Hunting!

Congrats to BUSTnBASS for the "first to find" this cache.
