Moranbah, situated in the Bowen Basin is a Coal Minning town. With lots of Coal Mines in the area it is quite fitting to have this monument at the entrance of town. This 45 cubic metre dragline bucket known as 'Bucket 19' weighing 42 tonne was sold to the Isaac Council for $1 by the 'Peak Downs Mine'. In it's life it moved 1.3 million cubic metres of earth.
