Geocache Description:

Where this geocache is positioned used to be the location of Ashford village pond, and behind it an attractive timbered cottage called Stitts Cottage.

In 1811 there was a substantial stream, approx 10 feet wide, known as the New Drain running from this pond along the north side of Feltham Road before turning south and heading off to Sunbury.

The pond was filled in 1932 and the stream diverted but you can still see remnants of the stream between nos 68 and 70 Feltham Road.

You are looking for a magnetic micro.
