Valley View Traditional Cache

Located in the Valley View Preserve, this cache is on a loop trail off of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. BYOP

The Valley View Preserve is a terrific example of both prairie and oak savanna restoration.  The nearby landowners and other volunteers have spent many years removing invasive species and returning this land to native habitat.  From top of hill on the Ice Age Trail (yellow blaze markers), you can see Blue Mounds on a clear day.   This cache is located off a loop trail (white markers) about .5mi from the parking coords and about 40 feet off the trail. Looking for film canister type container. After the find, you can continue on the white loop, turn right when back to the yellow Ice Age Trail and you'll have a nice 1.5 mile hike.   FYI, four-footed caching partners are welcome on a leash.
