Fairy Lake is a beautiful location for a paddle on a spring day. One can completely circumnavigate the entire lake at a leisurely rate in a couple of hours. As the summer progresses and moves into fall, the water level falls making access to some caches more problematic. In addition, you will find significant growth of the aquatic vegetation making paddling more difficult. Winter access may be possible if ice cover is adequate.
This cache is only accessible by canoe or kayak (motorized boats are not permitted on Fairy Lake). Start at the launch point listed in the additional waypoints. Attempting this cache by land would result in trespassing. You can access this cache from your canoe or kayak.when the water levels are higher.
