I had a cache in Manhattan where I wanted to bring people to see a piece of the Berlin Wall. I placed a simple hide down the block so they could get a smiley, but the real goal was to get them to come and see something special that they might not have known was there otherwise. Ultimately, I converted that hide into a much better one, which is now part of my NYPL series.
Now on Long Island, I have come across another very cool wall. It is not as historically significant as the Berlin Wall, but I still think it is worth your time to come and check it out.
Once again, the hide is your basic P&G, but as geocaching has done so many times over the years, it will bring you somewhere cool that you might not have known about if it wasn't for a cache.
