IMPORTANT: This cache is only available by watercraft. It is on the Christina River and cannot be reached safely by land. Please use all appropriate safety guidelines when seeking this cache.
When I saw that there was a "Kayaking the Christina River", I just knew that if there was still room, there needed to be a canoe cache here to go with it.
Turns out there was just enough room to squeak this in. Best time to visit this cache is at full high tide. At this time each day you should be able to row or paddle right under it and make an easy find. Cache container is a green bison pill container, hanging on a branch, suspended over the water. At high tide, you can paddle a canoe directly underneath and grab this one. It's just a P&G (paddle and grab!). May be inaccessible at low tide.
Parking is at the Churchman's Road Boat Ramp parking lot where you can also launch your watercraft.
Please sign the log to prove a find, and replace as found so that other cachers may enjoy the find.
Bring your own pen. Have fun and Happy Caching!
Congratulations to Beck66 for FTF!
