Geocache Description:

This cache is part of my "Ode to New England" (OTNE) set. Though the solution has nothing to do with New England, there is a cache there that inspired me to create this one.

Consider the following list of sentences. Each sentence contains a hidden element. Together, the elements from each sentence will form an obvious pattern or connection to a common theme.

To solve this puzzle, you need to:

  • Discover the hidden elements in the sentences below and deduce the theme that binds those elements together.
  • Once you know the theme, the sentences can be put into a more logical order based on the hidden elements. Align the sentence tags A-I with the proper order of the sentences and you can decode the coordinates below. Let J = 0.

S = ( A + B + C + D - E - F + G - H + I ) * J
T= F

X = B - D
Y = ( ( D + D ) / I ) + A
Z = H
