What is Christmas without a Christmas Party??? The kids get lots, most workplaces have one and of course Christmas is all about family, but normally there isn't a party with the people you actually have things in common with. Cachers! Well that's about to change - It's Cachemaaaaas!
I've gone with the same venue as last year as it worked so well. It's my local community centre and will hopefully allow people to come from south as well as those from the north and the west to easily get there. Venues in Aberdeen were extremely costly at this time of year when I've priced them up, so the community centre seemed the best option again.
I've been given permission for alcohol but it has to be bring your own. I cannot provide, distribute or sell it.
There will be a buffet table, please everyone bring something for that. A good mix of finger foods (sandwiches, sausage rolls, pizza), crisps, sweets and cake will be needed! Anything you'd expect to see on a buffet really! The feast we had last year was amazing!
There'll be music, dancing, games and hopefully lots of laughs between 7pm and 10pm (there might even be facepainting!)
It would be great to see everyone in the festive spirit wearing a Christmas jumper but not essential
There will be a secret Santa - you put in what you want to get out, so if you want 2 adult and one child gift out, that's what you must put in! Simple.
There will be a donation box on the evening to cover the cost of the hire of the hall which I have paid up front.
Any offers of help setting up or clearing afterwards will be gratefully accepted!!!
All new cachers are welcome, it's the perfect time to meet others
