Geocache Description:

A thicket is the middle or in-between stage of a meadow growing over time into a forest. Thickets may be found in the middle of a forest, in a meadow, on the side of a road, or on a sandbar in the middle of a river. Thickets are made of shrubs and young trees and there are always lots of the same species in a thicket. They are crowded and very close together and usually have tangles of vines that can cover trees and shrubs, often completely. Some trees may even become strangled by vines. Thickets are important to wildlife as they are safe places to hide and raise young.

Keep your eyes open, you never know what you will spot in the thicket!

Enjoy your walk on the PRW and bring your own pen.
