Geocache Description:

This is one of my local circular walks.I recommend you start at the car park near the disused railway line, in Hedon.

The whole route can take between 1.5 to 2 hours. I've often seen deer on this walk, can be muddy in winter.

Clockwise;

Head west along the disused railway line towards Hull (Ghost Train cache is about 650m), walk 670m, and there is a footpath across the field on the right.When you reach the hedge head left to the cache, once located, follow the footpath across this field to a concrete block, then across the next field to the wooden pilon, turn right, follow the edge of the next 2 fields to a stile, cross the stile, bridge and the road, take care here, turn right and follow Staithes Road into Preston, at the traffic lights turn right, and follow the road back to Hedon.

Anti clockwise;

From the Car park cross the road and head left to Preston, at the lights take the road left (Staithes Road) and walk to Middle Lane, cross Middle Lane then cross Staithes Road to a stile in the hedge, follow the edge of the next 2 fields until you get to the wooden pilon, turn left and cross this field to a concrete block, cross the next field to the cache site, after finding the cache, cross the ditch (usually dry) and turn left follow the field hedge for about 100m, turn right and there is a footpath across this field to the railway line, turn left on the railway line (grab Ghost train), and follow to the car park.
