BYOP. This cache is a small container with just a log. It is on the public right of way. Unless you are an employee of one of the companies using these buildings please do not trespass beyond the right of way. The area is frequented by muggles between the hours of 7 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday. Discretion is necessary.
Thes buildings were originally white when they were built 25 to 30 years ago. The owner/CEO asked his employees to help paint the black spots on the outside to represent his parents Holstein dairy farm.
At it's peak Gateway Computer Company employed over 5,000 people. They completely closed their doors at the North Sioux City, South Dakota location in the late 1990's to early 2000's. Today these buildings are leased by at least three other companies and collectivley there are less than 1,000 employed within the cow spotted buildings.
Gateway Computer Company and these buildings had such an impact on this local area it has become an important part of the local history.
