Geocache Description:

Please read the entire description!

The weather was nice this weekend, so I decided to take a stroll in the park.  As I was walking, I overheard parents warn their young that the geese might "get you" and to "be careful".  My senses hightened by the ominous warnings I overheard, I kept an eye out for any danger.  As I walked, it suddenly occurred to me that a "bear" was running towards me!  As I was overtaken by fear, my life flashed before my eyes.  How could I escape?  In desperation, I scrambled up the first thing I saw in hopes of gaining higher ground.  As I climbed higher, I could see the bear getting farther below me.  My fears were eased, but the bear kept running.  I assessed my situation.  To keep my mind off of what was below me, I started to think about caching.  I wonder how far the other caches are from here?  Oh look, I thought to myself, I have all of the supplies necessary for a cache in my pocket.  What a strange coincidence...  Why not place one, so if other cachers find themselves in the same situation, they can get a smiley face.  As I watched from my perch, I could see others walking fearlessly below me.  Perhaps my fears were unfounded.  Perhaps my imagination had run wild, and the "bear" was not a bear at all, but rather something much less concerning.  I regained my composure, made my way back down, and returned to my vehicle - realizing, the only time one should fear the "bear" is after a heavy rain.  What an interesting turn of events!  Best of luck to you, remember to watch out for the geese and bears.  Let's all hope they do not become arboreal creatures!

You are looking for a small cache.  Please do not remove the container, simply removing the lid should be fine.  While parking is VERY close, this cache is not a park and grab!  Do not attempt this cache in or after wet or icy conditions!  USE YOUR BEST JUDGMENT!  REMEMBER: Not all caches are for everyone!  This is definitely an example of that.  By going after any of my caches, keep in mind that you are doing so voluntarily and at your own risk.  If you are in any way unable, unstable, unsure, uncomfortable, etc, please do NOT attempt!  Please be careful retrieving, signing, and replacing this cache.   Some times are better than others.  Use your best judgement!  Watch for muggles, as they will be a problem during the winter and on any comfortable day.  Watch for rapidly changing conditions, as the "bear" is prone to flooding.  Log only, BYOP.  The coordinates should be close - they should take you to the correct object, regardless.  If you need a hint, please let me know, but only after a thorough search.  Good luck, be safe, and have fun!

This cache is placed in the area of A.K.A Geocachers (Alliance-Keller-Area).  It is a fun group that formed recently in our area.  There was lots of interest from local cachers to start meeting regularly to have fun and discuss the game we all love, so the group was formed.  We now meet once a month in Keller.  Check out our Facebook page for more information about future events. See you at the next A.K.A. Geocachers event!  Happy Caching!
