lapsen on mentävä kehtoon

Tervetuloa Kalevalakehdon rauhaan nauttimaan tihentyvistä syyshämärän villoista lauantaina 8. lokakuuta klo 18.00-19.30. Sisälle kehtoon mahtuu kerrallaan viitisentoista henkilöä hissuttelemaan. Vuorottelu sijaa antaa ja ulkopuolella tilaa riittää useammallekin. Ulkosalla voi vaikka rapsutella lemmikkejään, testata Urkin porrashaastetta tai lymyillä lammilla josko lepakoita vielä liikkuisi. Kehtoilun lomassa voi kokoontua myös läheisen grillausalueen piknikpöytien ja huvimajan ääreen omia eväitä nauttimaan. Saaren palvelukartta pikkuloineen kaikkineen löytyy täältä.

Vaikka veneelläkin pääsee, suosikaamme Seurasaareen tultaessa julkisia kulkuneuvoja polkupyörien ohella. Vieraskirjan lisäksi kehdossa päivystää kolehtipurkki, mihin saa tiputtaa rovon ja toisenkin tila-, valaistus- ja napostelukustannuksia kattamaan. Siinä missä miittiin kannattaa varustautua nimilapulla, kotimatkaa varten kannattaa ottaa mukaan taskulamppu.

Welcome to visit Kalevalakehto installation, or The Shaman’s Haven of the Kalevala, from the inside. The event starts on Saturday October 8 at 6 p.m. and continues until 7.30 p.m. In Kalevalakehto there is room for approx. fifteen peaceful people at a time. In case the venue is temporarily crowded, one may test The President's Challenge or try to see if bats are still flying around the nearby ponds. There is also a possibility to have a picnic and grill at the given waypoint not far away from the event venue. For the island's other facilities such as toilets please visit the service map here.

Leached dogs are allowed on the Seurasaari island but bicycles are unfortunately not. The nearest bus stop (stop number 1302, bus line 24 from the city centre) is next to the listed parking area.
