Wonder Pass Traditional Cache

This small lock and lock container is located at the aptly named Wonder Pass at an elevation of 2,380 meters. From the Assiniboine Lodge, expect an easy on-trail hike covering a round trip distance of 7 kilometers with an elevation gain of just over 200 meters.

Wonder Pass is an amazingly scenic alpine pass located atop the continental divide. To the west, you will look into British Columbia towards the Assiniboine area. To the east is Alberta and the Marvel Lake valley. Access to Wonder Pass will be the most challenging part of finding this geocache - an overnight stay is probably necessary.
