This is our first cache, so we decided to place it on one of our regular walks when we go out with our dog. This is a lovely place to walk by the river, you can follow it all the way to the sea, either along the gravel track, or right down alongside the grassy river bank. From there you can walk a circular route following the footpath along the seawall, or walk towards the boatyard and up over the hill. You can also walk along the river bank in the other direction for quite a way.
Stealth will be needed as sometimes it can get busy with dog walkers. Please take care if you have children or dogs with you, as some cars can go quite fast along this bit of road, though the cache is a little bit back from the road. Can be easily done as a cache and dash, there is parking nearby.
