< Sango-zawa >
Sango-zawa is a stream at the border of Nakatsugawa-juku and Ochiai-juku.
There used to be a Mile-stone near the stream, according to the old map, but there is only a monument of it on Nakatsugawa-juku side today.
The wayfarers heading towards the east have to go up a steep slope from here.

中津川宿から落合宿までの中山道を歩きましょう。
＜三五沢＞
三五沢は、中津川宿と落合宿の境を流れる小さな川です。
沢のそばに一里塚があったと古地図には描かれていますが、現在は中津川宿側の斜面に石碑が立っているのみです。
中山道を東に向かう旅人はここから急な坂を上っていくことになります。
