Some people enjoy challenging terrain when they go geocaching, and this cache was placed with such people in mind. There is no trail that leads to the cache, but you can get about a tenth of a mile away by following the trailhead below as far as it takes you and then maneuvering to the cache through a fair amount of high grass, briars and other growth. For those who enjoy edexter's "Hard to Get to" series, this one will be right up your alley, since the cache itself will be quite easy to find, but getting there will not!
A suggested parking area and trailhead are below, but those will only get you so much if you choose to take them. You can bushwhack to the cache from the parking area, but it will not be easy. You can also follow the trail from Another Year, Another Bushwhack (GC63WNE) and see where that gets you. Regardless, it won't be easy!
Because of the difficulty getting to the cache, a terrain rating of 3.5 seemed appropriate. However, it may be a bit easier in the winter. You're looking for a regular sized screwtop container with plenty of room for trade items that shouldn't be too hard to find.
Hope you enjoy the challenge!
