LE SITE :
Une commune française, située dans l'archipel des Petites Antilles en Martinique.La ville du Robert se situe à 20 km de Fort-de-France, sur la côte atlantique au fond d'une large baie protégée de la houle de l'océan par quelques ilets. Dans sa partie sud-est, Le Robert se prolonge dans l'océan Atlantique par une pointe dénommée Pointe Royale.. Le Robert est, par sa population, la troisième ville de la Martinique après Fort-de-France et Le Lamentin. Elle compte au 01 janvier 2015 : 23 913 habitants. Le quartier du Vert-Pré, 6 000 habitants, situé sur les hauteurs du Robert est un important hameau de la commune. Ses habitants sont appelés les Robertins.
D'abord terre des indiens caraïbes, cette partie de l'île est colonisée par les français à partir de la fin du XVIIème siècle et c'est le Père Labat qui y fonde une paroisse en 1694. Le bourg prend de l'importance au cours du XVIIIème siècle alors que la culture de la canne et la production de sucre se développe. Ici comme partout ailleurs aux Antilles, la crise sucrière entraine le déclin progressif de l'activité au cours de la première moitié du XXème siècle et la commune se tourne alors vers les services et le tourisme.
Aujourd'hui le Robert est une ville assez dynamique qui compte notamment dans ses infrastructures un petit port de commerce et un port de pêche. Parmi les choses à voir ou faire on citera la visite rapide du centre bourg avec l'Hôtel de Ville de 1933, la halle du marché et l'Eglise Sainte Rose de Lima, mais aussi et surtout une excursion sur les ilets de la baie en bateau ou canoë kayak - plus particulièrement l'Ilet Chancel pour ses vestiges et sa colonie d'iguanes.

Une fois que vous avez trouvé une place pour votre voiture sur le parking prévu, le site est très facile d'accès. La cache de petite taille manétique contient originellement le log mais pas de crayon. Apportez donc votre crayon (BYOP) et soyez extrêmement discret, l’endroit est très fréquenté. SVP replacez la cache exactement à l’endroit où vous l’avez trouvé.

The hiding place in summer placed in the village of the city of Robert.
THE SITE :
A French municipality, situated in the archipelago of the Lesser Antilles in Martinique. The city of Robert is situated in 20 km from Fort-de-France, on the Atlantic Coast at the bottom of a wide bay protected from the swell of the ocean by some ilets. In Its southeast part, Robert goes on in the Atlantic Ocean by a point called Royal Point .. Robert is, by his population, the third city of Martinique after Fort-de-France and Lamentin. It matters on January 01st, 2015: 23 913 inhabitants. The district of the Vert-Pret, 6 000 inhabitants, situated on the heights of Robert is an important hamlet of the municipality. Its inhabitants are conscripts les Robertins.
At first earth of the Carib Indians, this part of the island is colonized by French from the end of the XVIIth century and it is Father Labat who bases a parish there in 1694. The village becomes more important during the XVIIIth century while the culture of the cane and the production of sugar develops. Here as everywhere else in the Antilles, the sugar crisis entraine the progressive decline of the activity during the first half of the XXth century and the municipality turns then to the services and the tourism.
Today Robert is a rather dynamic city which counts in particular in its infrastructures a small commercial harbour and a fishing port. Among things to be seen or to make we shall quote the fast visit of the center village with the City hall of 1933, the hall of the market and the Holy Church Rose of Lima, but also and especially an excursion on the ilets of the bay by boat or canoe - more particularly Ilet Chancel for its vestiges and its colony of iguanas.

When you found a place for your car on the parking lot, the site is very easily accessible. The small-sized magnétic hiding place contains originally the log but no pencil.
