This is a pretty location that can be driven to, off Hospital Road in Medfield, through the eerie remains of the former Medfield Insane Asylum. That facility was built at the end of the 19th Century & there were almost 60 buildings, on approx. 1000 acres. It handled more than 2,000 patients at its peak & lasted more than a century.
