The Oconto River and the surrounding waters of the bay of Green Bay have become a fishing hotspot in recent years. The spring walleye and smallmouth bass fishing during spawning season is fantastic and has led to a number of fishing tournaments to stage out of the mouth of the river. The cache will lead you to one of the boat landings that years ago used to be the city docks. Waterski shows were held here in the past too. During Copperfest weekend in early June it is home to a tractor pull when discretion should be used. The cache is a winter-friendly camoed pill bottle so bring your own pencil.
