7 OF A SERIES OF BRUSH HOLLOW TOYS4KIDS. MULTIPLE USE SKI, HIKING, AND BIKING TRAIL. WHEN SNOW ON TRAIL DO NOT WALK ON CENTER OF TRAIL, WALK 3' TO LEFT OR RIGHT. TRAIL WILL BE CLOSED TO HIKING IN WINTER IF THIS IS NOT FOLLOWED. FOOT TRACKS ON SKI TRAIL CAN BE HAZARDOUS TO SKIERS. HUNTING SEASON IS YEAR ROUND IN PA. WEAR BLAZE ORANGE OR PINK. PLEASE USE HINTS, I AVERAGED WAYPOINTS AND THE COORDINATES STILL JUMPED AND HAD A HIGHER % OF ERROR THAN USUAL. BIGFOOT MUST NOT WANT VISITORS.

Allegheny National Forest - Brush Hollow XC Ski Trail Description Allegheny National Forest This trail is not groomed. Three stacked loops offer a variety of hiking and skiing opportunities at a range of difficulty levels. The trail starts out on a railroad grade along Big Mill Creek. This trail is marked with blue diamonds. This trail also connects to Mill Creek Trail, that leads to Twin Lakes Trail. Twin Lakes Trail then leads to the Twin Lakes Recreation Area for camping, swimming and picnicking. These trails are marked with gray diamonds. Trail maps are available on the Trail Website in the Resource Center. Parking and Trail Access Trailhead and parking available on SR 948, north of Ridgway. A restroom is available at the trailhead. The trailhead is plowed in the winter. The Mill Creek Trail (5.6 miles) connects the Brush Hollow Trails with the Twin Lakes Trail. This trail is best suited to hiking. The trailhead offers accessible parking and a restroom. This area is managed for recreation and wildlife habitat, mainly turkey and bear. Big Mill Creek is a popular trout fishing stream. Operational Hours: Open 24 hours Fees No fee Permit Info: No permit required Open Season: January Usage: Light Restrictions: These trails are for hiking, cross-country skiing and mountain biking. Motorized vehicles, ATV's and snowmobiles are not allowed on any of the trails. Forest trails policy prohibits the use of saddle, pack or draft animals on hiking or cross-country ski trails. Camping is allowed along the trail as long as your equipment does not block the trail.
