Geocache Description:

This cache was placed as part of an Eagle Scout Project to help bring tourism to boost the Down Town Revitilization Project and to encourage people to get out and exercise and enjoy our beautiful town.

Near the historical marker telling the story of the Battle of June 8, 1864.  General John Hunt Morgan led his Confederate troops on a raid attacking a Union Camp here.
