Al 2014 s’inaugura el Jardí del Sol, un jardí vertical que funciona de forma autosuficient és fruit de la remodelació d'una mitgera al barri del Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou, resultant de la necessitat d’una nova escala d’evacuació de l’edifici de l’Arxiu que pretén millorar el paisatge urbà i utilitzar l'energia natural de manera eficient. El jardí té un dipòsit que recull l’aigua de la pluja per al reg que s’activa amb l’energia produïda per les plaques solars instal·lades a la façana. Les plaques fotovoltaiques també subministren llum a l’edifici, seu de l’Arxiu Municipal Contemporani de Barcelona. S’ha incorporat d’un plafó divulgatiu que mostra el rendiment de la central solar i il·lustra el benefici ambiental de l’actuació.

In 2014 was inaugurated the Garden of the Sun, a vertical garden that works for self is the result of the refurbishment of a district adjoining the Park and the Laguna del Poblenou, resulting from the need for a new evacuation scale the Archive building that aims to improve the urban landscape and use natural energy efficiently. The garden has a tank that collects rainwater for irrigation is activated with the energy produced by solar panels installed on the front. The solar panels also provide electricity to the building, headquarters of the Archive Contemporary Municipal. It has incorporated an informative panel that shows the performance of the solar power and illustrates the benefit of environmental performance.
