PB & Cache 18 Traditional Cache

Medium sized Peanut Butter Jar accessible from the power line trail off of Range Road or SR20.  The gate to this trail is closed to vehicular traffic, and if you access from SR20 you'll have to hike a bit as there is a section of the trail closed to anything but foot traffic due to the protection of an endangered species.  If you access from Range Road, you will not pass through their habitat, so recommend that route- plus it's shorter.

 Plenty of room for TBs and other trade items.  This series is meant to be easy and get the familiy out walking and enjoying the outdoors!

This cache is located on the Eglin AFB reservation. Hunters and or wild life may be in this area as well as military personnel conducting maneuvers. It is possible unexploded ordnance could be in the area so be aware of your surroundings.

****Also note due to training and missions the areas maybe closed at certain days of the week or times. Please check this site for closures in the area before going after the caches on Eglin Reservation. Before entering the Eglin AFB reservation, you must check the current day's Jackson Guard PDF map.

A permit granting you legal access to the Eglin AFB Reservation is required to seek and find ANY cache on Eglin AFB Reservation!!! You must have this permit and it must be in your possession.
