Geocache Description:

Time to put all that high school knowledge to use!

In order to find the cache you will first have to be very observant and have a calculator. I'd recommend a piece of paper too, to jot down some notes. Once you have the final answer, you should know what to do inside.

Careful observation and attention to details will land the log in your hands quickly. If, however, math is not your strong suit, bring a friend that likes math; odds are they will need your book knowledge to locate the cache. The cache is large enough to hold the log and a pencil, but not much else.

This cache has been placed with permission of Ms. Dana Phelps, the manager of the library and by the school administration. You will be able to find the clues any day of the week, but to sign the log and claim the find you will have to search Sunday from 1-4, Tue, Wed, Thurs between 10AM and 5PM or Saturday between 10AM and 2PM. An exemption has been given by Groundspeak HQ due to its unique location.

Now to the cache...

ABC A is the number of green letters on the second line from the bottom at the "sign post", B is the number of clocks on the library exterior and C is the number of days in a week. This is a 3 digit number.

ABC divided by the number of white letters in the first line on the sign post equals D

The sum of the entrance number, spaces reserved for the library and the number of flag poles equals E. (5)

E times D equals F (19)

F times the second digit of the entrance door number equals G(13)

G plus the number of characters (don't count spaces) on the second line of the plaque under the window equals H(17)

H times triple the number of handicap spaces equals I(30)

I divided by 1,000 equals the location of Ground Zero.

Congrats to 2bjPN & Rsoxfan8 on the FTF

Update 10/30/17 As it is not my goal to frustrate fellow cachers I have added a number in parentheses at the end of some of the math problems. That number is the sum of all the digits from the answer. Ex (16) means that all the individual numbers in that answer add together to get 16. This does not give away or reduce the difficulty rating as there are many possible variations to get these numbers, and once you get far along the numbers become large. If your answer doesn't match, check your counting or your math verbage and see where you've missed the mark.
