Sven took one step to far. The good news is that Inga was there to catch him. They decided to mark the occasion which leaves me with a problem. How to take that last step to investigate what Sven and Inga left for us to find?
This cache requires climbing gear. It is at least 20 feet down the face of the cliff and about 40 feet up the cliff. You are not going to be able to get it with a ladder. I set up on top with two 50 foot pieces of webbing and one 40 foot chunk. I built a 3 point self equalizing anchor mainly because they're cool. I set the anchor left of the pine growing out of the side of the cliff. The cache is below and to the right of that stubborn little pine. I rappeled down and set the anchor for the container.
The container really blends in well to the cliff face. Even when you know where to look it is very hard to see from the ground. If you drop anything I expect you to "undrop" it. The container is large enough to hold travel bugs. Currently, it only holds a pencil and a log.
Good luck!
