From finding new favorite places, people, and puzzles, geocaching is full of Story Worthy Moments. The trick is to capture them on film. On November 3-7, 2016 thousands of geocachers will take part in a global geocaching movie night. The GIFF 2016 reel will contain an hour of carefully selected finalist films made by geocachers, for geocachers.

We will be celebrating the GIFF weekend this year in the fellowship hall of Nobles Chapel Baptist church. There is no fee to attend this event and the event will begin at 5:30PM for fellowship, food and to give time for latecomers to see the viewing. The event will run until around 7:30PM. The movie will begin at 6PM and there will be seating available for at least 75+ people. The movies will be projected large enough for everyone to see. Popcorn will be provided and we kindly ask that you bring a snack to share although this isn't required. We will have a vote for some prizes by guessing the best movie based on title before the viewing, then after we will vote again and the cachers with matching guesses will be allowed to pick from a prize table with cachers having the lowest number of finds going first and moving down the line from there. By attending this event you will receive a GIFF souvenir on your geocaching profile.
Order of Events
5:30 - Start, Fellowship, Log signing
5:55 - Pre-vote
6:00 - Movies start
7:00ish - Voting and drawing for prizes
7:30 - Cleanup if anyone wants to stay and help

Take exit 116 (Food and Gas exit 121) take Hwy 42 West for approximately 4 miles. Turn Right onto 581 North for approximately 4.8 miles then turn right onto Old Raleigh Rd. Take Old Raleigh Rd for 1.2 miles After cresting the hill with fish pond rd at the crest the event will be at the Fellowship Hall on the left side of the road.
