Another cache in my series of geocaches placed at the end of long hikes. For this one, it is necessary to drive to the region south of Yate, about two hours from Noumea. The hike not technically difficult but it does involve several different types of terrain. One-third is slippery red dirt and gravel, one third is knee high brush with no clear trail and one third is dense jungle. There are two watering holes. The fist one still had some water in it even though it is the dry season (and I went swimming in it). The second, where the geocache is placed, was dry when I visited. Spoiler pictures are provided to help find the geocache. Pictures and a description of the hike can be found here.
