The roads are up here are basically trails. I would recommend a quad for your adventure. As always stay safe and let people know where you are going and your expected return time. There will still be a decent hike to the summit but it will be well worth it. The summit is approx. 5000 ft. Make it a clear day and post some pictures.
This is a destination cache that will take a little planning before attempting. Your starting point will be the Slollicum Creek FSR. Additional information can be found using the directions for some of my other caches in the area such as this is Not Slollicum Lake and Cascade Peninsula View. We used a quad when we placed this cache and rode as far a we could. There was a point where the road has eroded so much so that it is unsafe for a quad. You'll know when you get to this point. It is very narrow. Park here if you are quadding and begin your hike. Follow the Orange and Black ribbons from here. It's only a short distance before the road ends anyways and you will be left to travel on foot. Congrats to Submine on the First to Find!
