Geocache Description:

This series will take you on a tour of the Midtown Greenway. The Midtown Greenway is a 5.5 mile long former railroad corridor in south Minneapolis with bicycling and walking trails. The bridges between Uptown and Cedar Ave. are especially cool, being about 100 years old and each showing the date they were built. This is a high muggle area with bicyclists, skaters, skateboarders, walkers, runners, and joggers. Please, be stealthy!

This cache is located near the northeast corner of the Pioneers & Soldiers Memorial Cemetery, which is the oldest extant cemetary in Minneapolis. Cache is outside the cemetary, so you need to approach from the Greenway. The cemetery gained some new fame a few years when a local musician used it as inspiration for an album.
