Ποια πρόταση είναι λάθος;

Ας κοιτάξουμε τώρα μια ταινία από το 1957 με γυρίσματα στην Κριτσά που αναπαριστά ένα χωριό με Έλληνες κάτοικους στη σημερινή Τουρκία το 1921, στην περίοδο της μικρασιατικής εκστρατείας. Η υπόθεση:
Η Ελλάδα καταλαμβάνεται από τους Τούρκους. Η χώρα είναι σε αναταραχή, ολόκληρα χωριά ξεριζώθηκαν.
Υπάρχουν πολλοί πρόσφυγες που έφυγαν από τα κατεστραμμένα χωριά τους. Μια ομάδα προσφύγων σταματάει εδώ όπου περίμεναν να είναι σ' ένα σίγουρο μέρος. Όμως, ο Παπάς του χωριού, ο Γρηγόρης, κάνει προπαγάνδα να διώχνονται οι πρόσφυγες από το χωριό. Λέει, ότι φέρνουν την χολέρα. Παρ' όλα αυτά φοβήθηκε τα αντίποινα των Τούρκων.
Αυτή τη στιγμή ετοιμάζονται οι κάτοικοι για τα ετήσια παιχνίδια των Παθών. Ο κρεοπώλης επιλέχθηκε για το ρόλο του Ιούδα αν και είχε προτιμήσει το ρόλο του Χριστού. Η κοινή γυναίκα του χωριού, η Κατερίνα (Μελίνα Μερκούρη) παίζει την Μαρία Μαγδαληνή.
Ο τραυλός βοσκός Μανωλιός, ο οποίος επιλέχθηκε από τους κάτοικους για το ρόλο του Χριστού, ξεσηκώνεται για τους πρόσφυγες και αντιτίθεται σε όλους χωρίς συμπόνια για τους εκτοπισμένους. Δημιουργεί τις βίαιες αντιδράσεις που μπορείτε να φανταστείτε. Στο τέλος ο κρεοπώλης, ο "Ιούδας", με το μαχαίρι του δολοφονεί τον Μανωλιό.

Let's go now to a movie with it's story of 1921 in the time of the Greek-Turkish War. The shooting was done1957 in the village of Kritsa which gives the scenery for a village in Asia Minor, in the area of the today's Turkey:
Greece is occupied by the Turks. The country is in turmoil with entire villages uprooted.
The site of the movie is a Greek village that conducts a passion play each year. The leading citizens of the town, under the auspices of the Patriarch, choose those that will play the parts in the Passion. The stuttering shepherd Maniolos is chosen to play Jesus. The town butcher (who wanted to be Jesus) is chosen as Judas. The town prostitute Katerina (Melina Mercouri) is chosen as Mary Magdalene. The rest of the disciples are also chosen. As the movie unfolds, the Passion Play becomes a reality. A group of Greek refugees, uprooted by the war, arrive at the village. The village's pope incites the locals against the refugees to banish them with the argument, that they would bring the cholera to the village. On top he feared that the Turk's reprisals if the would host them.
Manolios, chosen for the role of Jesus, stands up for the refugees and blames all who refuse their help to the impoverished leading to the most violent reactions one can imagine. At the end the butcher „Judas“ stabs the stuttering shepherd „Jesus“ to death.

The film „Stella“ is a Greek version of the story of „Carmen“. Melina Mercouri is playing the Rebetiko-singer Stella, fallen in love to Miltos. But she does not agree to marry him. Nun zu einem Film, der im Jahr 1921 spielt, der Zeit des Griechisch-Türkischen Kriegs. Der Film wurde 1957 in Kritsa gedreht, das Dorf stellt ein Dorf in Kleinasien, in der heutigen Türkei dar:

Heimatlos gewordene Flüchtlinge ziehen durchs Land und machen an diesem Fleckchen, wo sie sich sicher glauben, Halt. Dies geht dem Dorfpopen Grigoris gewaltig gegen den Strich, glaubt er doch, dass die heimatlos Gewordenen die Cholera ins Dorf einschleppen könnten. Ausserdem befürchtet er Repressalien der Türken.
Zu diesem Zeitpunkt sollten die jährlichen Passionsspiele in dem Dorf statt finden, in denen die Dorfbewohner die Rollen übernehmen. Der Metzger, der auch gerne Jesus gespielt hätte, übernimmt die Rolle des Judas und Maria Magdalena wird von der Prostituierten Katerina (Melina Mercouri) gespielt.
Der stotternde Hirte Manolios, der von den Dorfbwohnern für die Rolle des Jesus ausgewählt wurde, macht sich für die Flüchtlinge stark und stellt sich gegen alle, denen es an Mitgefühl für die Vertriebenen mangelt. Es führt zu den gewalttätigsten Reaktionen, die man sich vorstellen kann. Am Ende sticht der den Judas spielende Metzger den Manolios zu Tode.
