Since everyone seems to be enjoying these events, it looks like they are going to continue as regular monthly events!
The concept of a laid-back event with an opportunity to get some food and chat with fellow friends and geocachers will continue.
GIFF Weekend is your chance to watch the entire reel of the 16 finalist films from the 2016 Geocaching International Film Festival. On the weekend of November 3 - 7 only, geocachers will host geocaching events at which these films will be shown publicly for the first time.
Geocaching HQ will issue a "GIFF Weekend 2016" souvenir to every geocacher who attends a registered GIFF Weekend 2016 event from 3 - 7 Nov 16.
Our Meet and Greet will be Friday, 4 November, 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Because it's a workday, we will be starting 30 minutes later than normal to allow for travel. We will start the movie reel at 6:30 PM.

I hope you'll be able to come out and join us for food and fellowship. Don't worry if you don't want to stay the whole time or won't be there until late. Seasoned cachers and those brand new to the sport are equally welcome.
