Chilling in Chelem Traditional Cache

Welcome to the Fishing Village of Chelem, a true diamond in the rough along the Emerald Coast, approximately 20 minutes from Progreso. 

This is a quick cache & dash / grab & go cache.
You are looking for a small cylinder-type of container. Bring your own pen or pencil. 

The community of Chelem is a unique blend of local Yucatan/Mexican fishing families and expats. Chelem is flanked by the Gulf of Mexico to the North and a Lagoon/Ria to the south. On the Gulf-side you may see fishing boats (for octopus/fish) and a variety of seabirds (pelicans, gulls etc.), and on the Lagoon/Ria side you may see active shrimping and pink flamingos.Chelem offers a variety of restaurants where you can enjoy a refreshing cold refrescos along with typical Grill, Fresh “pescado frito / fried fish”, Pizza, or TexMex.
