[ITA]Monte Calderaro è un'altura che ebbe grande importanza strategica durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale. Dopo che a fine Ottobre 1944 i paracadutisti furono in grado di strappare Monte Calderaro ai tedeschi, l'avanzata di conquista della Linea Gotica si arrestò per tutto l'inverno, costando numerosi vite sia militari che civili. La vicenda di Monte Calderaro rappresentò il punto di incontro tra la armate alleata e britannica, e contemporaneamente l'altura più a nord di tutta la Linea Gotica che dominava sulla "Po Valley". Tuttora la posizione ottimale del monte è sfruttata da antenne di trasmissione della Telecom, e si possono ancora vedere i ruderi della chiesa di San Martino squarciata dai bombardamenti.
In occasione del 70° anniversario di quegli scontri fu realizzata una scultura in metallo ad opera dell'artista castellano Decio Zoffoli, composta da residui bellici ritrovati in tutta la zona. Attorno alla scultura si trova la frase Elie Wiesel: "La pace non è un dono che Dio fa agli uomini, ma è un regalo che gli uomini fanno a sè stessi".
La cerca della cache inizia nel parcheggio del cimitero di guerra. Dopo aver lasciato la macchina dovrete dirigervi alle coordinate indicate, vi porteranno in un cortiletto. Lì su un muro, in alto, troverete una scritta contro la guerra. Contate le lettere che compongono la frase, e quello sarà il numero X che vi permetterà di calcolare le coordinate del secondo step secondo la seguente formula:
Coordinate Secondo Step: N 44° 21.(X*58 + 1) E 011° 29.(X*18 + 2).
Al secondo stadio troverete la famosa scultura che testimonia gli orrori della guerra. Contate i bossoli di proiettile che la compongono, soltanto i bossoli riconoscibili come tali, non completamente deformati. Quello sarà il vostro numero Y (composto da 2 cifre la cui somma è 9) che vi permetterà di calcolare le coordinate del final secondo la seguente formula:
Coordinate Final: N 44° 21.(X*50 + Y +19) E 011° 29.(X*4 + Y*2 + 5).
La nicchia in cui si trova la scatolina è posizionata in un punto difficile da raggiungere, responsabile del livello 3 del terreno. Fate attenzione!
