Motoyama mine shrine-本山鉱山神社- Traditional Cache

本山鉱山神社は足尾地域に現存する最古の山神社です。
明治22年に坑長（古河鉱業所長）木村長七以下、本山に働く坑夫一同からの寄進（3,279円53銭）によって造営されました。
この神社を中心に銅山の繁栄を願って山神祭が行われるなど、人々の生活と一体となっていました。
キャッシュは本堂へ行く道の途中に設置しました。
最初は本堂付近に設置しようと思いましたが、本堂に行く道が私にはわかりませんでした。
